Kay Hoppe
Hoppe Real Estate Solutions GmbH
Kay Hoppe has over 30 years’ experience in senior roles at major companies such as JLL, Metro Real Estate, mfi (Unibail-Rodamco), Redevco and the Ten Brinke family office. He has extensive expertise in developing and implementing holistic real estate strategies. He specialises in the revitalisation and optimisation of retail properties, overseeing projects from conception to leasing and transactions. His track record includes various centres such as Saar Basar, Neuwied Galerie, and Caro in Aurich.
Andreas Müller-Kehm
DIS Die Immobilien Strategie GmbH
Andreas Müller-Kehm has over 35 years’ experience in the real estate industry, specialising in the revitalisation of commercial properties. His strength lies in developing individual, location-specific real estate strategies, ranging from analysis and redesign to successful leasing. He works throughout Germany and advises investors, property owners, and partners with the utmost flexibility and reliability.
Patric Schneider
RREE Retail Real Estate Experts GmbH
After studying Industrial Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, Patric Schneider initially worked in management consultancy for the P3 Group (later Umlaut SE), specialising in connectivity and Industry 4.0. Since 2018, he has worked for Retail Real Estate Experts GmbH, specialising in leasing shopping and local retail centres. He is now a partner and managing director of the company. He focuses on finding and implementing individual, holistic and sustainable solutions that are also realistic and cost-effective. His track record includes the Rathaus Galerie in Wuppertal and the Luisen Forum in Wiesbaden.
Darron White
WhiteWater Real Estate Advisors GmbH
Darron White has more than 35 years of international experience in commercial real estate. During his career, he served as European Director at Jones Lang LaSalle, where he was responsible for transactions totalling over €5 billion. He has an extensive track record in the sale and purchase of real estate in various sectors, including retail, offices, DIY stores, Self-storage and mixed-use properties. He is an expert in investment, leasing, and strategic consulting at the European level.

- Sale of the property to an investor following Kaufhof’s departure
- Creation and presentation of a letting concept for the entire property, including ongoing fine-tuning and adaptation of the concept
- Determination of the financial budget parameters by preparing rental income and construction cost estimates in cooperation with the investor
- Support in the selection of specialist engineers and specialist companies
- Successful letting of all three retail levels (basement floor – 1st floor) and the car park, including negotiation of rental agreements and building specifications on behalf of the investor

- Around 22,000 m² of rental space
- 340 parking spaces
- B location in the Elberfeld district
New tenants and tenant mix
- The University of Wuppertal with approx. 6,000 m², plus conversion of a mall wing into lecture halls
- New focus as a local supplier with Aldi, Edeka, supplemented by medical practices and leisure facilities

- Development of a sustainable letting concept for a comprehensive reorientation
- Determination of the financial budget parameters by preparing rental income and construction cost estimates in cooperation with the owner
- Support in obtaining building rights, including re-zoning of the access road to enable deliveries to Aldi and Edeka
- Successful letting, including negotiation of rental agreements and support in implementation
